It is very good experience here.They deserve such a rating since it aligns with our taste bud. Every single dish is very tasty and flavourful inclusive the side dishes. I had such a great time dining here! The blood sausage soup was rich and comforting, and the flavors were spot on. The rice cake skewers were chewy and delicious, just the right amount of sweetness. The sweet and sour pork was perfectly balanced—crispy and tangy. And the seafood tofu soup was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. Everything was amazing, and I can’t wait to come back for more. Just had the cold noodles at Hongdae Korean Restaurant and wow—absolutely delicious! The broth was refreshingly icy, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of tang and depth. I have been here for 4 times, with friends and my son for both lunch and dinner. Every time we came, there hasn't been one time of disappointment at all. My son loves their shrimp fried rice. I love their seafood pancake, and beef short rib soup. The best of all is the side dishes. They are bigger than the other Korean restaurants that we have been. The side dishes are good ones too, in addition to 3 complimentary dishes refill. Our friends also loved it. While it is not within our neighborhood, we still make the effort to come here to enjoy the authentic Korean food. Given the current economy, the quality still remains, which is very impressive and great for customers. I almost forgot to mention the quick and friendly services from the staff, and most importantly, the cleanliness of the atmosphere (including floors, tables and chairs and washrooms).

found this hidden gem in richmond hill, their food was so good and portions were worth the price. they are kid-friendly, they had high chairs available for use upon request. service was fast, we didn't wait long at all for food. Everything was served family style so all of it was shareable. We really enjoyed the pork bone hotpot and the cheese tteokbokki. the pork bone hotpot came with 2 servings of rice and had glass noodles in the soup. we also tried the chicken katsu which also came with rice. we would 100% come back here to try other items from their menu. we liked the atmosphere as well, lots of families dining. their menu also had alot of pictures and they had pictures on the walls of the food on their menu which is helpful if you hav me never had korean food before.

I recently dined at Hongdae with my family and it was an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The menu offers a fantastic variety of authentic Korean dishes. I tried the Bossam and it was great. The portions were generous, and everything was beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the meal. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy delicious Korean cuisine. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!
